Hotel Whala!Bavaro, Bavaro

The rooms in the suit side of the hotel needed to be changed because the sinks or toilets were not working, and the reception did not send a single person to help. In the first building, the rooms were just above average with simple basic amenities but neat. The staff went out of there way to come around to serve us drinks, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location felt safe, with nice and beautiful Bavaro beach just half a block away. The dining experience was of a similar quality to the buffet, staying with the buffet, and the local focaccia bread was the best meal. The hotel's facilities were well-maintained, but the floor by the pool area was dangerous. The hotel overall is clean, but the area close to the water treatment of the public building has no air con as an open area.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the one hand, the rooms had a nice view of the beach, but unfortunately, there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. The proximity to the water treatment facility next door was a downside as it caused a sewage smell in the water. The building itself felt a bit aged.

The hotel had some positives like a decent room but with intermittent water and electricity, the location is secure but crowded at times, the dining options were good but repetitive.

The hotel had some great perks, like beautiful views from the room, but it also had some drawbacks, such as the tiny beach with limited personal space and a not-so-comfortable walk down an alleyway to reach it. The service was outstanding with a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere despite a slight language barrier. Dining offered a good variety, especially with made-to-order sandwiches, though the location had some ups and downs like a fantastic beach contrasted with overcrowded sunbed areas and an uncomfortable walking path.

My stay at the hotel was exceptional. The rooms in the old building, particularly ours with an ocean view, are modern and very well laid out, offering a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The service was amazing, with everybody being so kind and helpful, especially Julio Ullola at the front desk. The location is fantastic, offering one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen, enhancing the overall experience. However, the dining options had some limitations, especially for those not consuming red meat or desserts.
